JWGoneBad , l read Slim's post differently . To me he was saying that JWs would equate themselves with the early Christians.
You're correct jhine...that's why my reply is JWs are 10% Christian & 90% cult & lead by 8 eggheads!
wow.
while not a pew survey, i found these to be surprising results.

I think i see the problem here slimboyfat...sounds like you place JWs on the same level as early Christians...I don't!
Early Christians were 100% Christian...Jehovah’s Witnesses are 10% Christian (I'm being generous) and 90% cult lead along & controlled by 8 meatheads!
wow.

The world's verdict stands:
JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES ARE HARMFUL AND TOXIC!
:) :) :)

Here what's soo funny about the results of this poll in connection Jehovah’s Witnesses...JWs take it upon themselves to preach their own interpretation of the Bible to the world and in the end...the world's overall view of JWs is that they're harmful and toxic!
isn’t it about time they released the report for the service year?
or have they stopped publishing it?
did they released selected figures at the annual meeting as they usually do, such as the memorial attendance or record number of pioneers?
My hope is a decrease in publishers & baptisms in the U.S. They can have as many damn pioneers and auxiliary pioneers as they want to report...pioneers' production & yield levels are soo damn low anyway!
It was bragged about that our circuit had upwords of 600 pioneers and auxiliary pioneers...yet at the time of the baptism talk there were between 2 to 4 kiddy JWs born-ins being dunked! So what good are high JW pioneer numbers when they can't generate new recruits? :) :)

"if a person accepts a blood transfusion, the jehovah’s witness elders are required to “investigate” to see if the person is sorry for “cowardly” saving their life.
if the person doesnt beg and grovel to the elders for allowing the doctor to save their life (or that of their child) then the elders can take this as a sign that he/she has disassociated from the congregation - and tell the congregation to start shunning them.. if someone willingly takes blood, perhaps because of being under extreme pressure, the committee should obtain the facts and determine the individual’s attitude.
Will JWs throw you under the bus if you have a transfusion?
Does GB Tony Morris have a reputation for being a habitual heavy drinker?
Are Jehovah's Witnesses delustional?
Yes...Yes & Yes!

Thank you St George...wait that's tomorrow...great!

Hi Carla...just tried the link & it seems to work okay!
i would belief so but if you can point something out, it can be discussed.. i don’t mean what jw taught in the past that they later realized was not correct and amended.
—unless you think and can show something like that is relevant.. i’ve spoken to a lot of believers from different religions.
i don’t want to bash any religion here under this topic but their beliefs are inconsistent and their reasons are sophistry and made up and grounded on circular reasoning.
I have a wrist watch I wear when I go out on special occasions...I've gotten a ton of compliments on it over the years. It looks very expensive & looks awesome on my wrist. Funny thing is that the watch is broken...has been for a long time...but it's the compliments I receive that keeps me from throwing the damn thing away. 🤣
Another reason I hang onto this watch is that it reminds me of this JW cult I'm affiliated with. You see Fisherman...like this broken watch of mine...this broken cult may look appealing from the surface to someone like yourself but it's broken...useless! You also talk about how consistent WT/JW has been on some of it's teachings. My broken good looking watch is consistent & tells me the right time twice a day everyday but is useless and unreliable 99% of the rest of the time!
I guess what I'm trying to say is that the JW religion is very much like a good looking broken down useless watch that is minimally consistent.

In case y'all hadn't noticed...the comment section was turned-off on this ABC In-Depth video. Imagine what many of the 84K who have given this video a thumbs-up 👍 would have said about the WT cult & it's toxic religious practices had they had the opportunity to express their views!
